Big Plans Ahead

 This has been a trying year, the most trying year of my life. I was pondering for a while as to where to go from here. Now, I made up my mind with a clear goal. My goal for this new year is to take on learning Japanese and studying abroad over there. I feel a strong pulling from there and I have always had an interest in Japan for many years. Now, I'm having a strong desire to live there at least part time. Japan seems to be right up my alley - frequent earthquakes, volcanoes, 4 distinct seasons, amazing natural landscape with forests and mountains, the fox spirit with my affinity for the animal, and many more. The culture is generally conservative and polite and it is also clean with quality healthcare services from what I have researched. I appreciate structure as well. This could cause me to spend a little less time blogging here. I will still be active, but if you don't see as many posts or tweets, that is why.

 I slept in a little late this morning, so I'm still trying to get my bearings upon waking up. I was in some pain a lot over the past 2 or 3 days. My side was extremely sore and sensitive. I did not feel any sudden severe pain there, though. There has been a lot of action in terms of seismic activity in the world. A few magnitude 6s have happened over the past several days. I'm not in pain right now, but I may feel some mild pressure in my left side. I have also noticed that my leg pain has been starting up again over the past week. I feel very sensitive below the knee in my left leg. I have been worried about possible vascular-related problems again because I felt strange sensations in my arms yesterday. I'm also thinking that might just as easily be nerve-related. I have major life plans now. I have considered studying abroad and traveling to Japan in the not-too-distant future. That could be the next tectonically active place I will be setting foot on. However, I could have a connected flight that may end up somewhere in California, Hawaii, or perhaps even Alaska. This could be my saving grace. It will be interesting to see what happens then.

 I have been feeling some pain in my left side all day. Overall, I have felt a discomfort or pressure there. There has been some more significant earthquake activity going on in the world again. I have felt dizzy with a headache over the last day and pain and discomfort in the side. I felt some leg pain and tingling today as well.

 Yesterday, I was feeling some pressure and pain in my left side on and off all day. Eventually, a major earthquake struck Indonesia as I was about to go to bed last night. I have felt less this morning, but I am beginning to feel it again just now. I have been almost desperate as to discover more with these seismic zones west and east of my location. I have especially been trying to figure out more with the New Madrid fault. The 210th anniversary of the first of the major earthquakes there is on Thursday. This has been uncharted territory for me ever since I got here after spending 8 years living on a plate boundary and evolving and understanding the region. The 2019 Ridgecrest events caused by sensitivity to spread further up North where I started feeling impending activity from over the Garlock Fault more acutely. In the months before we had to move away, it even felt like it was starting to expand even further up north into the Sierras after there had been more significant activity going on there. Suddenly dropping all of that and moving to somewhere totally different and unfamiliar is very hard. Now, I am not sure what exactly might be going on, but I have been somewhat worried about possible vascular problems. I feel a lot of leg pain. I felt more of it over the past month. I have been dizzy on and off and felt other strange symptoms. I do not recall experiencing this before in California. I have been wondering if I need to be pumped with some seismic energy from up close. The chances of me experiencing that often are much lower than when I was there. Every time after an earthquake that I thoroughly felt, I felt refreshed and felt energized and lively. Especially after being in pain, I felt immediate relief every time those seismic waves hit. Again, I don't want to be too dramatic about this. I was just making an observation.

 There were a couple of mag. 6-pointers in the world following last night's entry. I'm still not sure if it is over yet. I've been feeling some mild stinging pains in my left side and I'm feeling very warm and stimulated. The heat and stimulation may also be because I'm ovulating(I have been having mittelschmerz all day). Other than that, I am feeling some side pains. I'm not only monitoring significant activity around the world, but possible activity in or around Tennessee. There has been some more seismic activity going on in the New Madrid area and a couple of new small EQs occurred in Eastern TN over the past day or two. 

December 2, 2021

 The activity was very low today after an outbreak of strong earthquakes in the world this week. However, I started to feel some pains in my left side and more seismic activity started to increase again. There has been more moderate earthquake activity occurring around Japan today. It may not be over yet in terms of more significant activity in the world. There may still be some more seismic activity taking place in the Central and/or Eastern U.S. as there has been more going on over the past week. There have overall been a higher number of small EQs on the Eastern half of the U.S. over the past month so far. I have been feeling sore and achy all day. I'm not sure what is going on there. I have been feeling more of that leg pain and it even runs up from my foot.
