I was not feeling much until this afternoon. I did tweet that I was feeling some pain just to put it out there. I started feeling some mildly acute pain in my left side and also felt warmer. 20-30 minutes later, a mag. 5.7 in the Kermadec Islands region and a mag. 5.2 in Peru occurred within 20 minutes of each other. Over the past hour, I have been feeling some more pain in my left side and have felt some dizzy spells so far.
Physiological symptoms I experience that coincide with earthquake activity near and far. I have long noticed a connection. I document it all here.

Compression Stress & The Body
I have learned just over a year ago about the process of stress in the moments before an earthquake and how it affects my body. It feels like a compressive force. Everything becomes tighter and tighter and then the seismic waves relieve it. It seems to add stress and pressure on the internal organs. It can at times make you feel like you have to go to the bathroom or even feel nauseous. It would also make you feel like you have weights tied to your hands and in the bottom of your feet. It would feel like I'm twice as heavy, like I'm being pulled down into the ground. I would find myself sort of stooping over or less willing to move. It would be more uncomfortable during menstruation where I feel uterine pressure and discomfort.
I visualized the process. The energy from the earth churns up into my body like a current. It flows up to the top of my head and then back down. Halfway there, it also gets caught in a circular loop at the sides(where I feel most pain - particularly my left side where there is a little more space). My sides are like pockets, spaces where the energy then circulates downward, sort of sewing me into the ground. It also is like the affect of winding up something tighter and tighter before it gives way. I'm also speculating the effects it may have on fluids in the body. I was wondering whether the compressional stress could trigger retrograde menstruation or suppress it. I wondered if the pain in my side may also be caused by blood and other fluid pooling from the stress. I am now considering tracking all this down in a notebook. I believe that is what I should do from now on. I will be monitoring functions and symptoms more thoroughly while keeping track of the earthquake activity near and far and take notes.

I'm beginning to explore possible causes of earthquakes in or near my area. I am suspecting that the pain does not just come from larger scale activity all over the world. I have a feeling there could possibly be something going on closer to where I am. I have discovered that the pain comes from a feeling like something is about to pop. I have an idea of what makes it hurt before an earthquake. I know the difference between a natural earthquake and an artificial event such as an explosion. In the past, it is like a bubble is about to burst before an earthquake. Stress suddenly increases or a small amount spikes to a critical point, it gets really tight and hot and then it lets go. That is what it feels like. I am aware that there is a vast quarry in my area and I'm thinking that can lead to induced seismicity. There are also some fracking sites around TN. I'm trying to understand the mechanisms in earthquakes on this part of the country. I understood them quite well back over in California on a tectonic plate zone. An earthquake is very much a release of energy after a build up of stress deep in the ground. They typically occur in a fault or disturbance in the earth. When it comes to intraplate earthquakes, it does not involve tectonic plate movement. Some of the causes are pre-existing zones of weaknesses that can reactivate(e.g. New Madrid Seismic Zone). There are also suggestions of them being caused by mantle plumes. I have a feeling a number of earthquakes go undetected in this part of the country. I do feel a lot out here at times. It can be confusing and difficult where it feels like I'm being pulled in different directions.

October 20, 2021
I'm likely going to be starting tomorrow. The activity around the world has decreased significantly. It may be over for now. It seems that each wave of significant activity has to land on the day I start for there to be less pain. However, that doesn't work when I have not been as good to my body as I should. I have to be more disciplined in cutting out things that would trigger an endo attack. I also just started taking turmeric curcumin to reduce inflammation and I have seen improvement from yesterday. I also ate all the right foods and cut down on the coffee today. Tomorrow I may end up drinking just decaf in the morning, especially if I get it first thing. It seems like there has to be a perfectly abundant amount of energy release around the world or something closer to this area that would make for an easier time on day one(when the worst of the pain would occur). Otherwise, I do all the right things to avoid a flare-up. On the other hand, if I don't prepare my body wisely around that time, I would still hurt a bit even if it was active enough out there. I'm still concerned about my circulation(fearing my relocating away from a plate boundary after 8 years affected my circulation). A few minutes ago, I was talking and I suddenly felt very dizzy or felt a fuzziness in my mind or almost a numbness. I also see a small raised, livid lump in my middle finger. I did not injure myself. It looks like a tiny blood clot. There has not been one small earthquake reported anywhere on this side of the country over the last 3 days. I will be paying closer attention to each little increase in some seismic activity in TN and surrounding areas to see if there is a link between that and certain symptoms. It is hard to say because not only do I have my hands tied with more serious activity in the world, but most of these earthquakes were rather small and distant with the exception of a 2.3 less than 20 miles from me in August, but that was a rather small event that occurred overnight. I felt some pain as I was going to bed that night, but I couldn't distinguish possible local activity from more significant activity throughout the world. I have been trying to figure all that out since I got here.

October 19, 2021
I'm becoming increasingly concerned about my health. I'm about to start any day now and I have been riddled with soreness, aches, and pains. It hurts whenever I cough laying down. It is as though I have splinters inside of me and it is worse if anything hits them. I'm also feeling some pain, numbness, and spasms in my arms and legs. I'm also concerned about my circulation. I'm not able to see a doctor anytime soon. I'm very much in the dark. Regarding seismic activity, I felt some pain in my left side continue later yesterday and last night. Another strong earthquake occurred in the world overnight. There also may have been something in Eastern TN. I found a disturbance on seismographs around the area. I checked seismograph stations far away to make sure it wasn't the mag. 6.0 in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. I did not find that signature on any of the seismographs in Western TN or other more distant areas. It is uncertain right now. All I know is that if something did happen in that area, it was not anything large.

More significant activity has occurred in the world. A magnitude 6.1 struck the region of Vanuatu during the overnight hours(Central Daylight Time). I have been feeling pain in my left side all day. It feels like a gnawing and aching type of pain. Some of it feels like burning. I'm also aware that a certain time of the month is coming up. I'm due on Thursday and I'm sore and tender all over. I'm having to monitor my health and my diet to avoid a painful flare-up. I don't want to feel like I'm at the mercy of a release of energy flushing old stagnant energy out of my system. It is very tricky. I'm drinking less coffee and am considering not having any at all come Thursday morning if I start then or overnight. I have been feeling a lot other than that. I have also been feeling some nerve pain and a few spasms in my arms and legs. I also am looking into possible activity going on closer to where I live. I checked the seismographs around TN and something came up on a few seismographs in Eastern TN.

October 16, 2021
I have been feeling some pain and pressure in my left side over the past hour. My side also feels hot and I'm feeling very warm with an increased heart rate. There may be more significant EQ activity on the rise for parts of the world. It has been increasing so far. I'm probably going to issue a new world EQ watch today. It may extend well into next week at this point. There could be moderate to potentially strong earthquakes occurring any time or day now, but they could occur a few days apart. It was somewhat recent since the last set of significant to large earthquakes in parts of the world.

October 15, 2021
I noticed that I felt some pain in my left side yesterday evening and last night. I sort of ignored it. I really did not think a new post in this blog was necessary and I was not sure what to say on Twitter. It felt like something was going on somewhere, but at the same time, there probably was not going to be that much going on for another week as there had already been a number of significant quakes in the world late last week and early this week. However, I did say in the outlook that one strong earthquake happening somewhere this week was still possible. I may have Tweeted a few times about physical symptoms I was feeling, but I discontinued that. I'm becoming a little more self-aware and people may not make sense of that. A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck the Solomon Islands just as I was going to bed. It did not immediately show up on my Twitter feed or the USGS earthquake monitor. There was very little going on anywhere else in the world. It is hard to say what I feel in terms of activity occurring somewhere closer to my location. There has not been anything of magnitude 3 and above nearby. Back in CA, I would feel pain with each little flare-up of earthquakes smaller than mag. 3 in the region. The seismicity on this side of the country is much lower for obvious reasons. I guess it would feel like something is about to pop when it comes to noticeable earthquakes. A couple months ago, a mag. 2.3 struck about 12 miles from where I live. It occurred overnight while everyone was in bed and that was too small to wake people up. It also occurred in a rural area. On Wednesday afternoon, a magnitude 2.3 struck near Chattanooga. I could have faintly felt some sensation beforehand, but not enough to thoroughly grab my attention. It was again, too small and it was more of a distance away. It is hard processing larger scale activity from all over the world and whatever may be going on in this region which is far away from any plate boundary. So far, I still feel a little tingly, so there could be more going on whether it be more significant events in the world or something a little closer to my location.

October 8, 2021
I have started to feel some acute pain in my left side this evening. Some more activity is starting back up in the world. I issued a second watch earlier today. I was still feeling a lot of energy though I felt a brief lull this afternoon. So far, it may become very active somewhere out there any time now. I'm feeling a lot of energy and warmth so far. There is a chance it could go away, but right now it is showing signs of heating up in the world.

October 5, 2021
This morning, I suddenly felt sick. I was nauseous with a mild headache and even feeling some chills and body aches. I was also feeling some acute pains in my left side. I was not sure what was going on with me and suspected that I may have been coming down with something, but I was no longer nauseous after eating something. There is some more significant EQ activity going on out there in the world. A magnitude 5.6 struck off the coast of the Iwate Prefecture in Japan(northeastern Honshu) just less than an hour ago. Coincidentally, I happened to be feeling that strong desire to travel to Japan since early this morning. I just finished learning katakana when I checked the earthquake activity and saw what was going on in that part of the world. I have been wondering if I have a stronger connection to certain places than others. Some more seismic activity flared up in Southern California today although it wasn't anything significant. I recall feeling the desire to travel to Alaska and it started acting up seismically. There has been more or less the same kind of activity taking place in Western and Eastern TN over the past week. What I have been feeling, I have wondered if there could potentially be something going on on this side of the country. So far, I'm feeling pressure in my side. I have also felt more spells of dizziness over the last day.

October 3, 2021
I'm feeling a lot of pain in my left side running up my ribs. It is a throbbing pain and it started about a minute ago. I'm also feeling some stress this morning. I'm not sure what is going on. The other day after I issued the most recent World EQ Watch, I was feeling some side pains. It was hours before a large earthquake occurred somewhere in the world(mag. 7.3 - Vanuatu). I don't post in this blog everyday like I used to. I realize I should be more consistent and follow up with the watches I put out.
